100 Years of Samiro Yunoki: Trajectory of Creation’ is both an exhibition and a book celebrating the artist and his many valuable contributions over the century. Featuring photographs of Yunoki, his work and his atelier, this book traces his life and lists his achievements. Born in 1922, Yunoki apprenticed under Keisuke Serizawa after being inspired by the Folk Art Movement. He uses vivid colours and rich patterns in his fabrics, but also creates lithographs, copperplate paintings, glass paintings, and picture books.
