A wandering soul is a raw and intimate selection of poems and photographs. Inspired by nature, human behaviour, personal storytelling, existential worries, pain, love and fantasy. An intuitive dialogue of a poet with two outstanding contemporary photographers, all three artists share a tender appreciation of beauty and fleeting mementos reflecting a universe that is exquisite, yet contradictory and pierced with conflict and uncertainty. J. Miller has been co-creating alongside Peter Hauser from the outset, often reacting to his otherworldly, experimental work and powerful visual language. Awoiska van der Molen is another artist, whose work greatly moved the poet. Awoiska expands on the tradition of analog photography with her timeless, meditative images of nature and the spaces in between. Poetry can be a very intense, uncensored path to one's essence through the prism of the writer's verse. Like a mirror placed in front of the reader, disrobing and vulnerable, relatable and contemplative. In its own way, this book is a Gesamtkunstwerk, which embraces language both visual and emotional. A piece of photopoetry that hopes to accompany the reader on their own journey, independent of place or circumstance, a dance between two complimentary art forms.
